Born in Glendale, California, I was raised with the nickname “Bronko” after the famous football player Bronko Nagurski. This moniker shaped much of my early identity, driving me to live up to its legacy. But it also led me down a challenging path—one that ultimately resulted in a broken body from athletics and burnout from acting.

My life took a dramatic turn on February 14, 1985, when a friend from acting class invited me to a Bible study. That evening, I was overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit and made the decision to receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. This marked the beginning of my journey in following the call to share the gospel and build others up in faith.

Despite the many times I felt called to full-time ministry, circumstances and life choices led me to remain on the sidelines. Football remained a dominant force in my life, and my involvement as an NFL official reached a pivotal moment with the controversial “Fail Mary” call. It was in the midst of the public backlash that I experienced firsthand how God’s grace carried me through hardship, and I began to share how He had worked in my life during that turbulent time.

After years of wrestling with the direction of my life, I finally let go of my own plans and fully surrendered to Jesus Christ, trusting in His greater purpose for me. Today, I am committed to living out His call to serve others, share the gospel, and embrace His plans for my life, no matter the cost.
